Igor Stravinsky
Igor Stravinsky (1882-1971) was a Russian composer and conductor.
His early works include some of the best known of all 20th century ballets, the Firebird, Petrushka and the revolutionary Rite of Spring. In his second compositional period he became one of the foremost proponents of neoclassicism, and later he adopted a modernist style using techniques such as serialism.
