The Russian Maiden's Song (also known as Parasha's Aria or Chanson Russe) is an extract from Igor Stravinsky's one-act opera 'Mavra', composed in 1922. The work was arranged for violin and piano by Stravinsky and Samuel Dushkin in 1937, and it has a constantly shifting time signature that gives the work an erratic feel.
