Howard Ferguson
Howard Ferguson (1908-1999) was an Irish composer and musicologist, born in Belfast.
He studied composition under Vaughan Williams and conducting under Malcolm Sargent, and helped Myra Hess organise her famous series of concerts in London during the height of World War 2.
