Gerald Finzi
Gerald Finzi (1901-1956) was a British composer, perhaps best known for his choral works including the cantata Dies natalis, and nine sets of song cycles.
While he didn’t compose a great amount of instrumental or chamber music, two of his works for clarinet have become widely played since his death.
