Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov

Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov
Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov (1844-1908) was a Russian composer, who became known as one of the most accomplished orchestrators of his age.

He helped develop a nationalistic style of Russian classical music, and he was a member of The Five, a group of prominent Russian composers of the day living in St Petersburg.

His most famous works include Scheherazade, Capriccio Espagnol and one particular excerpt from his opera The Tale of Tsar Saltan, called "Flight of the Bumblebee". Piano accompaniment tracks for that work are available on this website, in an arrangement made for flute and piano. A link can be found below, along with his Arabian Song.
