Anton Rubinstein
Anton Rubinstein (1829-1894) was a Russian pianist, composer and conductor.
He is regarded as one of the greatest pianists of his time, giving recital tours across the world, and he is also famous for founding the St Petersburg Conservatoire. He was also a prolific composer, writing six symphonies, several concertos and many piano works.
