Giuseppe Tartini
Giuseppe Tartini (1692-1770) was an Italian composer and violinist.
He was a prolific composer for the violin, composing many sonatas and over a hundred concerti for the instrument. However he is best remembered for his violin sonata in G Minor, known as the ‘Devil's Trill Sonata’ which was among the most technically difficult written up to that time.
