Leroy Anderson
Leroy Anderson (1908-1975) was an American composer, conductor and arranger.
He studied music at Harvard University, and while he joined the US Army in 1942 this did not prevent him pursuing his love of composing. He is most famous for composing entertaining incidental works, such as his famous Sleigh Ride and The Typewriter.
