Arcangelo Corelli
Arcangelo Corelli (1653-1713) was an Italian Baroque composer and violinist.
He was one of the earliest proponents for the violin, and his compositional style is highly regarded for its refinement and textural richness. His output is just six sets of works, but these helped develop the sonata and concerto forms into forms we recognise today.
