Giovanni Battista Sammartini
Giovanni Battista Sammartini (c.1700-1775) was an Italian composer, choirmaster and violinist. He is included here on the premise that this website includes piano accompaniment tracks for Sammartini’s Cello Sonata in G major, however it is now widely believed this popular work was in fact written by the French composer Martin Berteau (1691-1771).
