Piano accompaniment backing tracks
Bernhard Romberg wrote a number of cello sonatas, but it is for this Sonata in E minor that he is perhaps best remembered. It is a fine work in its own right, but also regarded as a strong influence on Johannes Brahms' first cello sonata, which is also his opus 38 in E minor, and the opening bars are very similar.
These piano accompaniment tracks help make practising more effective and enjoyable! They are recorded by a professional accompanist and can help you keep in tune and in time, as you listen to the piano part for this work. Please scroll down for samples and details of each movement.
