Piano accompaniment backing tracks
|Practice version (optional)|
Popper wrote his Elfentanz in 1881 and despite being very brief it is a very technically demanding work for cello. To evoke an "Elf's Dance", Popper instructs the soloist to play the entire work spiccato with the bow. Here you can purchase and download the piano part to play along to, recorded by a professional accompanist.
