Mozart completed his peerless Clarinet Concerto in October 1791, just weeks before he died. The first movement contains a joyful theme that is introduced through a lengthy orchestral tutti before being passed on to the clarinet. The Adagio second movement is among the most beautiful pieces of music Mozart ever wrote, and it frequently appears on lists of favourite classical works. The finale restores the joy and wit of the first movement, this time in rondo form.

Please note: this version is the original key of A major and is therefore suitable for A Clarinets. There is a transposition for B flat clarinets which can be found here.
