Also known in French as Le Cygne, the Swan is perhaps the best known movement from Camille Saint-Saëns' The Carnival of the Animals, written in 1886. While originally written for cello and two pianos, it has become much more popular in this arrangement for just single piano and cello, although the solo part can equally well be played by violin or other instruments.
