Moritz Moszkowski wrote his set of 5 Spanish Dances Op.12 for piano duet in 1876, and their attractive nature has since led to them being transcribed for a variety of instrumental combinations. The 2nd dance is the best known of the set, and here it is arranged for violin and piano.
