This famous wedding march is actually one of the pieces of incidental music Mendelssohn wrote for Shakespeare's play 'A Midsummer Nights Dream'. There are 3 versions of the Wedding March included here - a short abridged version which is about 80 seconds long, a medium length version which is about three and a half minutes long, as well as a longer one which is five and a half minutes long and which reflects the full movement that Mendelssohn wrote. All versions are in C major.
