This famous Ave Maria is actually the product of two great composers, Charles Gounod added a melody over the top of Bach's Prelude No.1 and this renowned piece of classical music was the result! Two accompaniment tracks are included here, one with 73 bars and one with 40 bars. The longer version essentially repeats the main theme twice, and is the more commonly played version. Both versions are in C major, and are suitable for different instruments including cello, violin or flute.
