Piano accompaniment backing tracks
Charles-Marie Widor composed this suite of four pieces for flute and piano in 1898. It is a substantial work within the modern flute repertoire and it is popular in recitals as a substitute for a conventional flute sonata. There are two versions of the Flute Suite, which are mostly similar until the middle of the 4th movement, where the alternate version becomes considerably shorter and more simplified. The original version is commonly published by Leduc and the alternate version is published by editors including Kalmus and others. Accompaniments for both versions are included on this website, and if you need further information please contact me.
