I realise that many people have worries about purchasing items on the internet, so I hope I can put your minds at rest here.
Your security whilst ordering is of paramount importance to me. Because of this, I entrust the taking of your bank details to specialised payment service providers who safely process thousands of online transactions every day.
The first couple of checkout pages are designed so that I can take some of your details in case I need to get back to you or send you CDs or MP3 files, but when it comes to the point where you enter your bank details, you are transferred to one of the specialised payment service providers.
The default payment service provider is an specialised UK company called Protx. For more information regarding Protxs security please click here (opens in new window). Thousands of small to medium-sized web business use Protx as a way of accepting payments over the internet, and naturally all shopping done via Protx benefits from the latest 128-bit SSL encryption technology, so you can be assured that your transaction is as safe as it can be. Transactions can be performed safely from any country in the world using most major credit and debit cards.
Customers wishing to pay using PayPal accounts are similarly guaranteed the latest 128-bit SSL encryption technology. For further information about PayPal's security please click here (opens in new window).
I never get to see your bank details and they are only processed within the secure environment of the payment service provider. As soon as the purchase is authorised and finished, your bank details are removed from the internet so your security is not compromised. The only exception to this is if you set up a PayPal account, when your bank details are retained in a secure environment.
I hope these points allay any fears you may have, but feel free to email me if you wish to find out any further information about the checkout procedure.
